Chicken cutlet, simmered pork cutlet or a rice bowl? These three dishes are often ordered by our guests visiting from abroad. Take a look and choose the one you would like to try at Tonkatsu Toyama in Asakusa, Tokyo.
CHICKEN THIGH · À LA CARTE
Chicken cutlet
Breaded and fried chicken thigh, served on a plate. This is not sasami-katsu, which is made with chicken tenderloin.
¥1,100 à la carte
Rice, soup and a side dish are not included in this price.
Add the ¥500 Rice Set (rice, pork miso soup and a small side dish): ¥1,600 in total.
All three dishes are prepared using the same frying oil, which contains pork fat (lard) and beef fat. This also applies to the chicken cutlet.
Katsuni: a pork loin cutlet simmered with egg and onion, served separately from rice. Choose this if you would like the cutlet on its own, or add a Rice Set.
¥1,300 à la carte
Rice, soup and a side dish are not included in this price.
Add the ¥500 Rice Set (rice, pork miso soup and a small side dish): ¥1,800 in total.
All prices are in Japanese yen and include tax. These are regular dine-in dishes, available every day as part of our regular menu; they are separate from the weekday lunch menu and takeout bento.
Looking for sasami-katsu? Our signature chicken tenderloin cutlet is a different dish from the chicken thigh cutlet shown here. See signature sasami-katsu and prices
